Three students have been selected for the 2025 Alberta C. Kaufman Scholarship.
We are thrilled to announce the three recipients of the 2025 Alberta C. Kaufman Scholarship!
This scholarship honors Alberta C. Kaufman, a woman of true generosity and dedication. Alberta embodied the spirit of service, committing over 20 hours a week to our community. She volunteered for overnight shifts in the emergency room at the former St. Joseph Infirmary on Eastern Parkway and shared her gifts as a teacher at The Louisville School for Autistic Children, which once stood on Market Street. Alberta was a source of encouragement, consistently emphasizing the importance of education. Above all, her greatest joy was her family.
