Busy intersections in Louisville will always be hotspots for dangerous collisions. The point where Freedom Way and Phillips Lane meet is especially hazardous. Traffic from several directions, including off of I-264 and I-65, comes together and anyone in the intersection must monitor six lanes of traffic or more as they proceed.
One distracted or careless driver not paying attention to traffic lights or backed-up vehicles can cause an impact. That crash can set off other crashes for drivers nearby. These accidents can end up causing serious injuries for even safe and alert drivers.

Finding Assistance for Victims After Louisville Car Accidents
Victims hurt in a car accident often can’t do much for themselves at the scene. They might be secured, transported by ambulance, and soon find themselves in a hospital bed. It’s after their injuries are secure that they will start to consider the cost of all of this medical care and emergency service.
It ought to be a no-brainer that innocent victims in accidents shouldn’t have to pay for their own recovery. At-fault drivers and their insurance companies should have to do the worrying over doctor bills and other expenses. Sadly, insurance companies can try to get you to sign a lowball settlement offer on your physical and financial hardships. This settlement may not even be enough to cover your first night in the ER, let alone the bills you receive over the next several months for physical therapy and possible follow-up surgeries.
It’s important to have a legal expert on your side to monitor all communication with an insurance firm. Insurance agents are sometimes trained in bad faith practices. These can include stalling on responding to your claim while more and more bills come due. They might know that you’re out of work with your injury and will soon be desperate enough to accept any offer they make. Allow a local attorney to hold them accountable for these tricks.
