Congratulations to our attorneys Marshall Kaufman and Kerstin Ann Schuhmann! On behalf of a client that had been attacked and mauled by dogs, they appealed a verdict that determined the dogs’ owner was not liable.

An appeal was heard by the Kentucky Court of Appeals and then the Kentucky Supreme Court. The Kentucky Supreme Court issued an opinion finding in favor of our client, and addressed how fault is to be determined in this dog bite cases and other cases going forward.
