Personal injury lawyers Cara Stigger and Marshall Kaufman were guests on WAVE Listens to discuss how the law firm navigates the current court closures during Covid.
With courthouses in Kentucky closed for personal appearances, how do lawyers represent clients? For our personal injury clients, civil trials are set to resume in October 2020. When civil trials resume, the presiding circuit court judge will determine how the trial will be executed.
Currently, we do serve personal injury clients as we normally would with investigations, mediations, depositions, court hearings, and negotiations. The difference is we do more of this using video teleconferencing, phone calls, and email. Our attorneys, paralegals, and support staff continue to work full-time at home or in the office.
We are committed to doing what is best for our clients to obtain the best result for their case. If you have been injured in an accident, don’t hesitate to call, text, or live chat our office. You will speak directly to an attorney. The injury case review is always free. Let us help, while you focus on getting better. To get the conversation started, go to getthetiger.com.
