People always ask 91-year-old Sue Wells about her daughter Cara Stigger. Sue jokes that she sees Cara more often on TV and social media. Fortunately, Cara lives nearby and DOES visit with her mom most weekends. Cara’s sisters Betsy and Jo live a stones throw from Sue in Taylorsville, Kentucky. They are near the farm where Sue and her late husband James raised their children. When Cara was young her family farm grew grain, tobacco, raised cattle and pigs, had a milking dairy, and a large vegetable and fruit garden to feed family and friends.
Cara jokes her mom spends too much time on social media, but it is a great way to keep up with her big family. Sue is from Clinton County, Kentucky. Sue is the proud mother of 5 children (Allen Wells, Betsy Kelien, Jo Mann, Jana Lyons, and Cara), grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 14 and many others she holds dear.
