An interstate accident involving three vehicles claimed one life over Labor Day weekend in Bullitt County south of Shepherdsville. WAVE3-TV reported the accident took place around 8 a.m. on Sunday morning in the northbound lanes of I-65 on September 5, 2021.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision that killed at least one victim. Information on any other potential victims was not immediately available. The cause of the crash has not been released.
Emergency crews closed all lanes of the interstate for about two hours as they helped investigate and clear the scene.
